New York City. New Year’s Eve 1999. Four unlikely professional mob cleaning staff gathers to drink and reminisce about their work during the first decade of the millenium. The truth behind their cooperation begins to surface in the narratives of four cleaners for the mob begin to align. What began as a celebration of a decade worth of shared history becomes an uneasy and possibly risky confrontation.

Serial Cleaners is a tribute to 1990s cinema. From Tarantino’s masterpieces, to B-movies with cult characters, action favourites and many others, Serial Cleaners mixes those familiar characters, places and scenes in a unique spin in a period of optimism and grime. The intricate soundtrack is comprised of several genres that shaped the last 20 years of twentieth century: From East Coast hip-hop to metal industrial metal, and even rave. Is it a matter of preference if the music of “your” Nineties was defined by clubs, festivals, or the radio – we’ve got you all covered.

Four characters are represented and different perspectives. There are four play different styles. Use street smarts brutal force or traditional methods to overcome similar obstacles. Select your way along the narrative by selecting the portion of the narrative you want to hear next. follow each step as carefully or brazenly as you’d prefer. Make use of stealth, exploration and speed when the scenario (and the experience you’re most fond of) calls for it. To erase the legacy of this decade, you must get rid of all the corpses and other evidence that appears to pose threat, before the next millenium begins!
